Join World RISC-V Day - Taiwan, an in person event encouraging RISC-V community collaboration. This gathering invites students, educators, developers, and industry leaders for discussions, and a presentation to explore and connect with emerging RISC-V communities worldwide.
Title of Presentation: RISC-V: The Open Standard, the Open Implementation, and the Open Silicon
Abstract:
RISC-V is an open standard that anyone can implement freely, and it is widely adopted across all levels of computing today :including, but not limited to, microcontrollers, automotive, application processors, high-performance computing servers, and even on rockets and satellites flying in the space. That said, there are both commercial and open-source implementations. Furthermore, to bring open-source implementations into the real world, there are RISC-V ICs manufactured by using end-to-end open-source EDA tools and foundry-provided open PDKs.
In this talk, I will blast through this journey from standard to actual silicon which ones could lay their hands on.
Register now to be a part of this innovative and inclusive tech movement!
